Mary Forteza-Kaufmann
Drawing on a foundation in experience design, anthropology, and education, I've developed proficiency in problem-solving through techniques like journey mapping, wireframing, and user/customer research. My focus in Human-Centered Design spans digital interactions, user experience, service design, education technology, health technology, and globalization. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in photography, illustration, and music.
My recent focus has been on family, since I am now a mom of a wonderful two-year old. My last professional role involving teaching English to professionals. This year, I've been actively involved in non-profit initiatives, concentrating on providing scholarships and improving educational experiences through event and equipment sponsorships. Notably, I proudly serve as an officer for a non-profit educational organization, handling digital marketing and product aspects to meet organizational needs.
My key contributions include creating and managing social media platforms and formulating online strategies for increased visibility and credibility among members, potential recruits, and sponsors.
In my diverse past experiences, I've served as a Trade Marketing Specialist for Procter & Gamble in the Philippines, and notably, as a Junior Product Owner/Product Analyst in a compliance and e-learning company from 2015 to 2016. This role equipped me with valuable insights into product development and user experience.
I am now eager to leverage my multifaceted background to go back into the realm of product design. My skills in product strategy, coupled with a keen eye for visual experiences, uniquely position me to contribute effectively to creating user-centric designs that elevate products.
Aside from my passion in creating impactful product solutions, I have other pursuits that capture my heart as well. Some of them are photography, digital arts, and volunteer social work(via non-profit orgs).
Preserving memories through photography is a passion close to my heart, especially in capturing the warmth of family love and appreciating the unique beauty in everyone. Come along on this journey to explore these captured moments, as we delve into the stories and emotions frozen in time through my lens, making it accessible to readers from all walks of life.
